‘Ecology is Spirituality’ Special Exhibition at LJM FuCheng Wins Category Gold at MUSE Creative Awards

The "Ecology is Spirituality" special exhibition at LJM FuCheng features an exceptional design that translates profound Dharma into immersive art. This excellence has earned it the Gold Award in the "Experimental & Immersive – Exhibition Experience" category at the 2026 MUSE Creative Awards. By weaving the concept of "Ecology is Spirituality" through exhibition, education, and public engagement, the show steps onto a broader international stage, showcasing Taiwan's cultural vitality to the world.

The MUSE Creative Awards, an international competition hosted in the United States and organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA), focuses on innovation across design, advertising, digital media, branding, and experiential design. With over 100,000 entries spanning 124 countries, the awards hold significant international prestige. LJM FuCheng stated that this honor belongs to everyone who contributed to the exhibition, as well as every visitor who stepped inside and was willing to stay a while longer to truly understand and connect with our planet.

LJM FuCheng, the City of Fortune, is a new LJM landmark located in Fulong, Gongliao District, New Taipei City. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, it serves as a sanctuary of prayer where immersive experiences embark visitors on a wondrous journey through Buddhist teachings. This award-winning special exhibition is neither a commercial pop-up event nor a mere visual installation. Instead, it holds LJM's long-standing advocacy of "Ecology is Spirituality" at its core. Through immersive imagery, spatial narratives, and interactive design, it guides viewers to explore the relationship between the universe, nature, and life, prompting a re-evaluation of humanity’s role and responsibility amidst the contemporary ecological crisis.

A Rare Achievement: Religious Culture Curation Wins Gold in "Exhibition Experience"

According to the 2026 MUSE Creative Awards official winners list, LJM FuCheng's exhibition in the "Experimental & Immersive – Exhibition Experience" category was evaluated alongside global brand experiences, major trade shows, and public cultural projects. Amidst such fierce international competition, it is a remarkable feat for a work curated through the lens of religious culture to secure a Gold Award in this category.

While many perceive religious exhibitions as mere displays of artifacts, history, and rituals, LJM FuCheng seeks to transform abstract spiritual ideas into an accessible, tangible, and participatory exhibition experience. Its recognition by an international jury demonstrates that the Eastern mindset of "Spiritual Ecology" can be interpreted in a way that resonates globally. This achievement showcases Taiwan’s creative prowess in cultural curation and the meaningful translation of spiritual content.

The Fundamental Solution to the Ecological Crisis: Mankind’s Spiritual Awakening

In the exhibition, visitors experience more than just a display; it serves as a gentle yet profound reminder to return to one’s origin. From the entrance, a cosmic perspective of interactive stars allows for an encounter with spirituality through AR technology and interactive projections. Along the "Space-Time Corridor," digital projections sway beneath one's feet as if transporting the very breath of Ling Jiou Mountain’s entire forest into the modern space of LJM FuCheng. This journey continues through the narrative atmosphere of hand-painted illustrations and an immersive theater that invites a contemplative gaze at the Earth's wounds. Finally, it leads to a call to action: "A Prayer for the Earth." This path, filled with positive energy, guides visitors through layered curation into a profound dialogue and journey between the world, life, and inner spiritual awakening.

As ecological imbalance grows increasingly severe, what truly requires restoration may not be just the environmental surface, but the way humanity perceives and relates to all things. LJM Founding Abbot, Grand Master Hsin Tao, advocates the vision that "Spirituality is Ecology, Ecology is Spirituality." From this vantage point, he reminds us that the root of the ecological crisis lies in human greed, hatred, and ignorance. The Master offers that the fundamental solution lies in a spiritual awakening, enabling us to see the beauty of the oneness of all things and our interdependent coexistence. Only then can true ecological restoration begin.

Nature and happiness: perfectly united here. LJM FuCheng emphasizes that Ling Jiou Mountain seeks to heal the Earth through spiritual awakening and resonant connections, driving a paradigm shift for ecology. This special exhibition is far more than a mere display of religious concepts; it is truly complete only when visitors are moved to re-envision their relationship with the Earth. The exhibition is currently ongoing, and we warmly invite everyone to step into this award-winning sanctuary of art. Amidst the shifting play of light and shadow, may you shed mundane distractions and rediscover that pure, heartfelt resonance with the Earth.
