1998, (At the age of 50) 

• In January, Pema Caiwang Rinpoche of Nyingma School visited, and conducted meditation on “Complete Attainment of Zen Without Rest” on Ling Jiou.
   
• In February, conducted ten days Chan (Zen) meditation on “Silence Observation”. In the same month, organized Salvation Ceremony Mahāpujā for victims who died in the China Airlines crash.
   
• In March, the Turkish Islamist groups “ZAMAN” representatives and the Secretary General of Catholic Church visited Ling Jiou Mountain.
   
• In April, the former president of the French Catholic Church visited to Ling Jiou Mountain, then continued to visit the Catholic Shenkeng monastery shared their spiritual experiences together with nuns.
   
• In May, Master Hsin-tao visited museums in Beijing and exchanged ideas with Social Science colleges.
   
• In June, His Holiness 11th Minling Trichen Jurme Kunzang Wangyal Rinpoche of Nyingma School led hundred Tibetan Lama to Ling Jiou Mountain ; The Myanmar Ven. U Yee Maa La Mahāthera conducted “ānāpāna sati” and “Vipassayanā” meditation on Ling Jiou Mountain.
   
• In June, conducted seven days Chan (Zen) meditation on “Silence Observation” and “ānāpāna sati”.
   
• In September, received an award of assurance, of MWR, from Vatican Pope. In the same month, U Yee Maa La Mahāthera conducted “Samathā” meditation and Tibetan Dorzong Rinpoche held class on “Madhyamakāvatāra”.
   
• In November, led nuns sangha of Ling Jiou Mountain pilgrimage to Pu-tuo Mountain, Mainland China.
   
• In December, conducted seven days Chan ; Tibetan Bario Rinpoche visited Ling Jiou Mountain and conducted the “Great Hidden Treasure Initiations”.
