2002, (At the age of 54)

• In February, a series of dialogue were held on “Millennium Religious Conversation”. In this series of dialogue Master Hsin-tao was the first speaker himself who talked on “Buddhist Practice and Samsāra”.
   
• March, initiated memorial anniversary dialogue in Ney York to talk on the incidence of 9-11, and Master Hsin-tao himself visited to Church of St. Paul and prayed for the victims. After this, Master organized the first “ Buddhist-Muslim Dialogue” in Columbia University. In the same month, he led a thousand of  Sangha members (Monks and Lay disciples), went Nantou to pay homage to the Buddha’s finger relic. Organized lecture with His Holiness Sakya Trizin on “Buddhism and Life”, at the end, His Holiness visited Ling Jiou Mountain.
   
• In April, Bairo Rinpoche, from Nyingma School Kathok, visited as representatives of Kathok Mozha from Tibet and hosted enthrone ceremony and transmitted the dhamma lineage. Abbot of Tantric College,Luo Tenzin Rinpoche from Gelug School, visited Ling Jiou Mountain; The Most Ven.Ching Hsin of World Chinese Sangha Association, led above 50 monks from different countries visited MWR.
   
• In May, the Malaysia newspaper Sin Chew Daily and Islamic “International Movement for a Just World” (JUST) together organized 2nd discussion on “Muslim Buddhist Dialogue”. The topic of discussion was “Muslim Buddhist Dialogue and New Asia” ; Master Hsin-tao conducted seven days Chan meditation on “Silence Observation”. In the same month, he led hundreds of monks and lay disciples to Beijing visited pilgrimage sites and had cultural exchanges with local Buddhist organizations . He was invited by Beijing Buddhist College to deliver dhamma on “The Buddhism in New Century”.
   
• In May, organized meeting with journalist in Hong Kong to discuss on “Sacred Monuments Protection Committee”. In this meeting Master Hsin-tao was the first to donate one million Hong Kong dollars to Afghanistan for the restoration of Buddha’s statues which were destroyed by Talibans.
   
• In June, Master Hsin-tao went to Thailand to attend the World Conference on Religious Leaders. In this conference, nearly three hundred religious leaders, and about thousand visitors including monks, and, around the globe participated ; Master Hsin-tao established NGO “Global Family for Love and Peace, GFLP” in New York, to promote inter-religious dialogue and cultural exchange all over the world.
   
• In July, in Jakarta, Indonesia, with the “International Movement for a Just World” (JUST), and other originations together organized 3rd conference on “Muslim Buddhist Dialogue”. The Muslim and Buddhist leaders from USA, Germany, Malaysia and Thailand were invited to participate; Master Hsin-tao Organized “Religious Literary Award”, in a purely literal way for the first time, to promote religious concern towards life. Issues on search for the meaning of life, and to enhance the spirituality of human. In the same month, Tibetan Bhikkhuni Tenzin Palmo visited Ling Jiou Mountain.
   
• In August, conducted Shui-lu Mahāpujā.
   
• In September, led the mission of the origination which belongs to the “Global Family for Love and Peace,GFLP". Participated in 55th annual meeting of United Nations Organization, NGO.
   
• In October, the first issue of the journal, “New Century Religious Study”, was published. In the same month, “Ling Jiou Shan-wai-shan - Master Hsin-tao Biography” was formally published by Yuan-liou Publishing Company, Taipei.
