Awarded By Myanmar (Burma) Highest National Honor

2006, (At the age of 58)

  • In January, Master Hsin-tao led the Sangha delegation for pilgrims to Myanmar (Burma), also visited to Buddhist University in Yangon and conducted fourth Sangha-dāna for monks. After completing the pilgrimage in Myanmar he went to Singapore, Malaysia to propagate the dhamma.
     
  • In February, led the Sangha delegation to pilgrimage to Buddhist places in India. During this pilgrimage Master Hsin-tao conducted Eight percepts ceremony in Bodhgaya. After coming back from pilgrim, he considered that “Sentient Beings are suffering , Divine Religions are declining” Master decided to go for retreat for one year in Wu Sheng Monastery of Ling Jiou Mountain.
     
  • In March, Master Hsin-tao was awarded by the highest Myanmar (Burma) National Honor “Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotika Dhaja” (This is the highest honor of Excellence Contribution in the propagation of Dhamma).
