2009, (At the age of 61)

• In February, Master Hsin-tao took disciples to participate in the condolence of Master Shen Yen, founder of Dharma Drum Mountain. After this event, Venerable Master Guo Dong, The Abbot President of Dharma Drum Mountain visited Ling Jiou Mountain to pay thanks.
   
• In March, took the Sangha to Fo Guang Shan to visit Venerable Master Hsing Yun and paid gratitude and respect for accepting Master Hsin-tao as his disciple. In this meeting Master Hsin-tao talked on strengthen cooperation between two mountains. Then invited to participate in Wu-xi, Jiangsu “The Second World Buddhist Forum (WBF)”, and participated in discussion of “Introspection and Establishment of Buddhist Practice System”, and delivered speeches.
   
• In April, went Nepal to meet Nyingma lineage Kathok Bairo Rinpoche at Zhichen Bairo Ling Monastery near Kathmandu, Nepal. Also was invited by  12th lineage Gyalwang Drukpa to participate the inauguration ceremony of the Druk Amitabha Mountain ; At the end of April inaugurates the “Global Inner Peace Movement.”
   
• In May, Achan Jamnien Silasettho Mahāthera from Tiger Cave Monastery, Thailand visited Ling Jiou Mountain.
   
• In July, he was invited by “Lassalle Spirituality Centre” (Lassalle Haus), Zurich, Switzerland, to participate in the international conference on “Zen and The Mysticism of Kabbalah and Christianity”. Then, he was invited to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp Memorial Hall in Poland and exchange Peace dialogue with CEO of the Museum Dr. Piotr M. A. Cywinski and Sikh believer Bhai Sahib Dr. Mohinder Singh. After this meeting he was invited by “Britain Birmingham Museum of World Religions” Preparatory Committee, and appointed him as the Museum Committee Chairman, and delivered his experiences on the concept of building the museum. He visited a Pagoda which was built by Myanmar monk Dr. Rewata Dhamma. And met with Dr. Uttara Nyana and participated in the Sikh Morning Prayer at Birmingham headquarters ; Phantom of the Opera cast members Jackie Rees and Sywan visited the Wu Sheng Monastery and learned how to practice meditation.
   
• In October, conducted Shui-lu Mahāpujā in Singapore for the first time. Also met with Venerable Qisu Long Gen Mahāthera, Singapore Buddhist Nestor.Nyingma tradition lineage of Tibetan Buddhism , one of the five " Golden Throne" holders, the Fourth Kathok Getse Rinpoche, came to Ling Jiou Mountain Wu-sheng Monastery visited Master Hsin-tao.
   
• In December, went to Melbourne to participate in “The Fifth World Religion Conference ── Bigger and Different World: Listening to Each Other, Healing the Earth”. In this conference Master Hsin-tao led the participants “A Minute Chan (Zen) on Silence”, blessing for the world peace. In between he conducted “Muslim Buddhist Dialogue” and presided over series discussions on “The Role of Religious and Spiritual Ordinations in Conflicts and Peace”. Then, went to Myanmar pilgrimage, propagation of dhamma through walking and presided over opening ceremony of Ken-ma Bise-ya, Sima which is built to eulogizing the Dharma heritage.
